‘Oceans for Eros’ is the debut EP from London-based guitarist and composer Robin Katz, now released on vinyl.

Six works for classical guitar and orchestra, with arrangements by Guy Barker OBE - trumpeter, composer and one of British jazz’s most distinguished arrangers.

The record draws on Katz’s background spanning art forms, channelling jazz, folk and classical influences into music of fulsome romantic depth. Mediterranean landscapes, themes of light and darkness and the quiet optimism of the post- Pandemic moment all find their way into compositions built around the textures of the nylon string guitar set against a rich orchestral palette.
